UPSC conducts exam named as CSE(Civil Service Examination) through which you can apply for IRS(Indian Revenue Services) which is for custom officer post.
and excise duty as well.
You have to apply,for CSE,the qualification required is graduation from any stream.
There are three stage of examination
1)Preliminary Exam.
2)Written Exam.
3)Interview.

To become a custom officer you are to go through Civil Services exams named as IRS(Indian Revenue Services).
Eligibility to do IRS:-
1.Any Graduate from the recognized University in any stream can write IRS.
2.This IRS entrance examination is conducted by UPSC.
3.AGE: General: 21-30 years, relaxations for OBC: 3 years. S/C S/T: 5 years. PWD: 10 years.
4.Nationality: Indian.
5.Attempts: General: 4 attempts OBC: 7 attempts. S/C S/T: No limit.
Candidates To Attend Preliminary/Mains exams then interview to get selection for Customs department and
