• The exams conducted by UPSC for recruiting to various post is referred to as Recruitment test. Various exams are conducted by the commission and so the eligibility varies a little from one discipline to the other.

• For IAS,IPS the academic requirement being bachelor degree in any discipline . But for IES, railway etc you need bachelor degree from engineering in the similar way depending upon the exam you have academic requirement.

• The age criteria remains the same. The minimum age limit for the exam is 21 and one is prevented from appearing in the exam if they have completed 30 years of age with 3 years relaxation for BC, MBC and 5 years for SC , ST .

• Also there is restriction in the number of attempts one can give the exam. So try to do well in the exam in the first time itself for which you require good preparation. Take your own time and make it success ful in the first time itself.
