SCRA stands for the Special Class Railway Apprentice Examinations.This examinations is conducted by the UPSC every year in the month of January .

The required educational qualifications are as follows:

1.Educational Qualifications:

>>The minimum educational qualifications required to appear for the SCRA exam is 10+2 passed /appearing from a recognized board with the mathematics,physics and chemistry as the compulsory subjects in the 10+2.

2.Age criteria :

>>The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit is 21 years.Relaxations applicable to obc and sc/st.

3.Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen in order to apply for the exam.

4.Examination pattern:

1.General Ability test : It contains questions from english,general knowledge and psychological test.

Time duration:2 hours and 200 marks

2.Physical sciences that is physics and chemistry : 2 hours duration and 200 marks

3.Mathematics :200 marks with duration 2 hours.

It is not big list of qualification and requirment.
just eligiblty is only three.
You have to completed you graduation with 60% marks.
you have to indian citizen.
and also 17 to 21 year old.

You must have passed in class 12th with at in first of second division with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subjects and if you are pursuing bachelor's degree or completed your bachelor's degree in same stream then also you are eligible to apply for this exam

Age should not be less than 17 years and more than 21 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates

You should apply for this exam and the next SCRA examination will be conducted in next year that is why you need to start your preparation from now without wasting anytime for this exam and that is why i have attached some question papers for this examination please download and prepare well

S.C.R.A --- SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICE


The minimum age must be 16.5 years

And the maximum age is allowed up to 21 years


You must have a minimum of 12th class from a recognized university
