To be very honest ,I would like to tell you that your query is incomplete due to the fact that you have not mentioned the name of UPSC exam .UPSC is responsible for conducting lots of examination every year .
Salary depends upon the UPSC exam you will crack and the post you will get in the different government department.
I have provided here some of the salary scale for some of the services so that you can get idea about your query:
1.Indian Administrative services:15600-39100 + 6600 as grade pay
2.Indian Forest services:15600-39100+5400 as grade pay
3.National defense exam cracking exam:15000-39000 rupees etc.
So from these figures you can imagine your salary after clearing your desired exam.
Yes ,definitely bank employees can apply for the different UPSC exam if they satisfy the eligibility criteria required for the different UPSC exam.

Anyone who is between age limits 21-30 years can apply for civil service examination irrespective of the job there are doing.However you need to have qualified graduation degree from any recognised university.
See there are lot of services comes under UPSC like Indian Administrative Services (IAS) ,Indian Police Services (IPS),Indian Foreign Servcies (IFS) and depeding upon post your salary are given.You are promoted basis of your rank and working experience in the job.But whatever post you will enjoy some basic facilities liek free electricity bill,housing allowances and travel allowances.Your grade pay will be not much but basic allowanaces will be more.It is generally start from grade pay of Rs 7500-13500 at junior level.It will increase later on however based on your experience and promotion

friend if you go for the the salary then sorry to say this is not platform to multiply the pay.upsc exams held to recruit aspirants who are dedicated to their work,want to bring changes where we are lacking behind.
upsc exam are namely civil service exam,IFos,IES,NDA,CDS,CMS etc these exam varies in their eligibility criteria like qualification,age limit etc.
every exam consist of written exam,interview for sure
coming towards salary=once your training got over,you are allotted with your work,the minimum pay would be around 30K-40K also as per your position.it may increase based on your work
