Hello,IAF :- Indian Air Force One can join IAF as an Officer or as an Airman. The officer cadre provides opportunities for men having 10 2 (Intermediate), graduation, engineering and postgraduate degrees, in their three different branches. Women have opportunities only in the Officer cadre of theAir force. Women who are graduates, engineers and post graduates can join as anOfficer in the Air force. Friend, UPSC does not conduct any special examination only for Indian Air Force. If you are willing to join Airforce, then you should look forward for NDA Examination and CDS Examination. Well dear for iaf upsc conducts two exams.one for 12th level student and one for graduation student.
NDA EXAM-NDA exam is conducted twice in a year by upsc.you can apply for this exam to join in indian airforce.this exam is normally conducted in the months of april and december.
Cds exam-this exam is also conducted twice in a year by upsc.it is for the graduation students.this exam is conducted in the month of february and august.best of luck
Dear friend UPSC conduct's NDA through which you can join as IAF officer so for your information date of notification for NDA exam date is april 2013.A candidate to apply for NDA within 21st January 2013.
Eligibility:
1.To do IAF/NDA 1.A Male candidate of 12th standard with the subjects physics/chemistry/mathematics can write NDA to join in.INDIAN IAF WING.
2. The age should be within 16 and a 1/2 year to 19 years.
3.An unmarried male Indian citizen can apply.
4.Eye sight must be normal 6''/6'' and without night blind and color blind.
5.Candidate's height and weight should be not less then 157cms and 42kgs respectively.
