Central Bureau Investigation

Candidate can join CBI as a sub inspector through combined graduate level examination. Every year Staff selection commission conduct Combined graduate level exam at the All India level. This common entrance examination is conducted for the various departments like Income tax department, Intelligence bureau, Central bureau, Investigator etc.

Minimum Eligibility For this Examination.

Any Bachelor degree from recognized university.

Age limit - 20-27years

Eye sight - At least one eye should be 6/6 (6/9 another side)

Physical Standard

Men -height 165cms
Women - height 155cms

Three stages in this exam

Written test (objective multiple choice type)
Interview
Medical Test.
The duration of exam is 2 hours (around)Topics of written examination are general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, numerical ability and English Comprehension.

CBI stands for the Central bureau of Investigation.

You can be part of CBI through SSC (Staff Selection Commission) CGL exam.

SSC conducts the CGL exam for the recruitment of candidates at various central government posts like SI in CBI, Auditor, Compiler, Sale tax assistant, Income tax assistant, Custom officer, accountant etc.

This exam is conducted once in a year.

In this year CGL exam is going to be conduct on 21-4-2013 and 19-5-2013.

To apply for the post of CBI you must have following qualifications.

You should be graduated in any stream.

Your age should be 18 to 27 years
