Dear Friend

NDA stands for the National Defense Academy .The entrance exam for this academy is a two step process conducted by the Union Public service commission twice every year in the month of April and August respectively.

First step is written test and second step is service selection board.

There are two modes of application for the exam:

1.Offline mode : You can buy the application form from the nearest Head Post office .After filling all the necessary details you can send it to the specified address.

2.Online Mode : You can apply online at www.upsconline.nic.in .It is less risky as you may make mistake on paper while filling the form.

The application form is sold at the same time at all places in India when the UPSC releases the notification dates for the NDA exam.Sp it will be sold when notification is released in Sambalpur.

For example the notification dates for the NDA I 2014 are as follow:

Date of notification:21/12/2013

Last date of receiving application:20/01/2014

Date of written test:20/04/2014

Before applying you must ensure that you fulfill the eligibility criteria which is :

>>10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board.

>>Age limit :16.5-19 years

>>You must be unmarried male Indian citizen

let me tell you that now application form for NDA examination are no longer filled on paper as earlier.Those application forms were available at Head Post Office of the district where candidate lives.But now application forms for NDA are filled online by internet.

For filling application form for NDA you have to fill application form on UPSC website http://www.upsconline.nic.in/ according to instructions specified on the same website.
