    dear aspirant,SCRA(Special Class Railway Apprentice) Examination is one of the important 12th based examinations conducted by UPSC for the recruitment in INDIAN railways every year.
    The students willing to appear for this examination are required to pass 12th from a recognized board with PHYSICS MATHEMATICS and CHEMISTRY as subjects .
    On the other hand the age limit to apply for this examination is 17-21 years .
    Unfortunately as you mentioned that your age is about 16.5 years , you can not appear for this examination as per the eligibility criteria for this examination. So have to wait until you cross 17 to apply for this examination. For now you can start your preparation for this examination. The main elements of this examination are physics chemistry and mathematics. So you must prepare yourself for the examination such that you crack it easily. The standard of the examination is really high. So don�t take it easy.
    The form for this examination will be released during the notification period of this examination. the SCRA examination of 2012 has already been commenced by UPSC the so you can not apply for the 2012 SCRA examination. For the latest information for the examination conducted by UPSC you can check out the official website of UPSC which is www.upsc.gov.in. also you can fill the form for the UPSC examination either by postal application or by online application .
