Most of the coachings have their fee structure designed in such a way that they ask for depositing prelims and mains at the same time. Moreover, they design their course in such a way that while teaching things for prelims, they do not cover everything and leave some portion to be covered while teaching for mains. This makes the students to attend their mains classes compulsorily. But, coachings also provide flexibility to choose among various courses they conduct. Its upon you to choose prelims or prelims-cum-mains batch. They charge fee as per the course chosen.
