Where and when does these UPSC exams will be conducted?

Sir, i m doing now final Bcom in "Krishnagiri District"..
i want to become a Collector.. But i dont know anything that where and when this UPSC exams are conducted.. Please help me sir..

Yes you can join as collector but you have to give the

Upsc exam for this as upsc is conducting

The civil services exam every year for the collector post

And you can apply for the exam online just go their official website

And fill the form but this year you have missed the exam

But you can apply for the exam next year

And choose the center which nears you

For the exam the candidate should be pass in graduation or a final

it is divided into two categories

1. Prelims
2. Mains

you have to clear both the exams.

Eligibility Criteria for Civil Services :
you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university.

your age must be within 21 years to 30 years.

And there is relaxation in UPPER AGE limit for reserved category candidates(3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates).

To be a Collector , you need to crack the Civil Service Examination and this examination will held in cross country . It is one process . Civil Service Examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Once in a year . This year examination was already completed on 20/05/12 . If you are missed this chance then don't worry next notification will be publish in the month of Feb or March in the official Website of UPSC .

## Passed their graduate degree with any discipline of recognized University .
## No minimum marks required for this examination and Pass marks is enough to appear .
## Final year of degree course may also eligible to apply .
## Age should lies be between 21 years - 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination .
## Upper age limits may also eligible to apply for this examination .

How to apply ???

When the notification will be announced at the time , the application forms are available in online mode and there is no offline facility of application . Candidate may apply online using the website :- www.upsconline.nic.in

Note :- There is no offline application forms .

Cost of application is 50 /- ( excepting the SC/ST/PH candidates ) and you can pay the fees using the following modes :- 1)SBI branches , Internet Banking , Visa / Master Card / Debit / Credit Card .

To become an IAS officer you have to appear and clear the civil services examination conducted by the union public service commission.

this exam is conducted yearly once and the competition is very tough.

the preliminary exam will be held in the month of may.

the mains exam will be held in the month of october/november

the interview will be held in the month of april/march.

the final result will be out in the month of may next year.

following is the scheme of the exam:

PRELIMINARY:

two papers:
paper-1(general studies)
paper-2(aptitude test)

MAINS:

general studies(paper1 and paper 2)
optional subject-1(paper1 and paper 2)
optional subject-2(paper1 and paper 2)
essay
language paper(qualifying nature)
english paper(qualifying nature)

so totally 9 papers

after mains you have to appear in the personality test.

UPSC conducts the civil service exam for the post of Collector.

CSE is conducted once in a year at national level.

In the year the last date of application passed.

So you can appear for CSE in next year 2013.
