IFS stand for Indian Forest Service.

IFS exam is organized by Union Public Service Commission once in a year for the recruitment of post of Forest Officer.

• If you are having the bachelor degree in hotel management course, then sorry to say but you are not eligible to appear in this exam.

For appearing in IFS, you must have completed the graduation in any of the below subject-

• Botany.
• mathematics.
• Zoology.
• statistics.
• physics.
• Animal husbandary.
• veterinary science.
• Any bachelor degree related to agriculture/forestry/engineering..

• Since an Hotel management is related to managerial studies, which have no connection with the forest, you are not eligible to appear in this exam.
