Yes study groups do help many time but it is not key to success.But keep these things in minds
1)Your group members are not indulged in bad activities
2)You fixed a time of your meeting
3)Keep your topics concern with your preparation topics not with gossips
4)Don't make a group consisting of large numbers
5) Be supportive to each other instead of making fun of their weakness
