CDS stands for the Combined defense services examinations .This examination is conducted in order to recruit officers' s for the different academies of defense which are as below:

1.Indian Military academy

2.Indian Naval academy

3.Indian Airforce academy .

4.Officer's Training academy

For this examination ,you must have passed your bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the CDS examinations.

The age limitations the CDS examinations are:

IMA;19-24 years

INA:19-22 years

IAF:19-23 years

OTA:19-25 years

Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen

>>Both male and female candidates are allowed to appear for the examinations.

YES WHILE APPEARING FOR CDSE(OTA)YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE MATHS EXAM.
CDSE is a entry for all three wings of defence,the maths paper that is given in the CDSE is of class 10th mathematics,which all of us have done.
Your evaluation of marks will be done on the basis of marks scored in all three subjects.

The mathematics is of only class 10 level,simple elementary mathematics.
