    What will be the training period for CDS qualifiers? How many years will it take for me to become an Army Officer through UPSC CDS exam?

    after graduation done the cds exam and interview how many year training for an army officer

    Hello

    There are two ways to enter Indian Army through CDSE.
    IMA(Indian Military Academy)-offers Permanent Commission,that is a term of 30 years.
    OTA(Officers Training Academy)-offers Short Service Commission,that is a term of maximum of 14 years.

    Now if you have applied for IMA,then the training period of IMA is 18 months.
    While the training period of OTA is 49 weeks(11 months).

    after cracking cds exam and clearning ssb interview then you would undergo a training for 18 months at indian military academy,Dehradun.
