Eligibility :
Candidate complete any one branch on recognized university.
Candidates must be on Indian Citizen.
age between on 21-----30 years.
3 years relaxation on BC/MBCs.
5 years relaxation on SC/STs.
10 years relaxation on physical ability.

No you are not eligible. You need to complete your Graduate degree in engineering to be eligible for ESE. Stream does not matter for being eligible for ESE as all streams are eligible but the papers are only of 4 branches. As you are from Automobile engg, you can give the exam in Mechanical engg papers.
However that is far fetched affair. For the current time,enrol in degree course through lateral entry of good colleges or through AMIE so that you can be eligible for ESE in the final year of your B.Tech/B.E or equivalent.

Every Engineering graduates is Eligible for IES exam but you have to apply in the following branch;-

Civil, Mechanical

Electrical

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.

There is no percentage requirement.

Your age should be between 21-30 years.

3 years age relaxation for OBC category

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates

4 times number of attempts for General category

There is no limit for SC/ST category candidates.

Sorry , you are not eligible for Indian Engineering Services Examination.

For that exam you should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation.

Your age should be under 21-30 years , 3 years of age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

You must be citizen of India.

Male/Female both are eligible for that exam.
