dear Mr.Mishra,
You are perfectly fine to give the exam. But you must have a visual standard of 6/6 for right eye, 6/12 for left eye, or 6/9 combined(without a visual aid like spectacles or contact lenses) for technical services. For non technical services it doesn't matter. However the most important thing is CORRECTION OF VISION IS PERMITTED BY SPECTACLES BUT NOT BY SURGERY etc. So if you have spectacles, its perfectly fine.
Technical services are:
1. IPS
2. IRTS
3. RPF (Railways protection force)
4. Other police services Group A and B
Non -Technical services are:
1. IAS,
2. IFS (foreign service) and
3. other central civil services (Group A and B)

Dear so many posts and exams are there where the eyesight is not required but sometimes it is required for some services under the UPSC Civil services exams which is following :
1. IPS - Indian Police Service : There is only one exam and test where the strong eyesight is mostly required according to the government or board rules means in civil services exams if you want to apply for IPS services exams then you must have a very good eyesight to qualify the medical and physical standards.
2. Other Civil Services : IAS - Indian Administrative Services, IFS - Indian Foreign Services, IFOS - Indian Forest Services - If you are applying for these civil services entrance tests then you don't need to have a very good eye sight as required in IPS exams at medical standards means there is no medical fitness would be checked by the board, commission or authority or government so you can apply for these civil services exams easily.
Eligibility : If you posses a degree or it's equivalent from a recognized university with at least 50% marks and age is between 21-30 years then you can apply for this exam and relaxation in upper age as 5 years for SC/STs and 3 years for OBC category candidates.
All the best
