Don't worry you are fully eligible for the examination. If your university is fully recognized by UGC i.e. University Grants Commission then in any degree you can fill up the form of UPSC.

To pass the Bachelor degree at any recognized university is the only educational qualification for the UPSC conducted examination. YES , YOU can give the upsc exam as upsc doesnot mention that whether regular/private candidate can apply they only mention that " aspirant must have done his graduation form a recognised university or equivalent" so form the fact lies is that your university is recognised by UGC or not. if yes then NO problem.

The criteria for the UPSC exam is below :
-> one should done their graduation from any recognized university .
-> age limit for the general cast is between 21-30 , 3 years relaxion for obc , 5 years relaxion for sc/st/ex-serviceman/physically hanicapped .
-> maximum 4 attempts are allowed for the general cast , 7 for obc and no limit for the sc/st .
Now if you done your graduation from a UGC recognized university then you are eligible for the exam no matter you are private degree holder .
So if it is then start the preparation for the exam and give it .

If you have passed from a recognized university, then you can definitely appear for the examination. The age limit for the examination is within 21 to 30 years.
