you want to apply for IFS .. for that here is some information.
>> first of all you can apply for this post as M sc student.
>> and for that you have to be in some upsc's instruction .
>> that is your age must between 21 to 30.
>> India Citizen only can apply for this exam.
>> most important is you have only 4 attempt for this exam.

Do not worry ,here I am providing you all the required criteria to be eligible for the Indian Forest Services examinations.This examination is also conducted by the Union Public service commission.
The eligibility criteria for the IFS exam is as below:
Academic requirements :
>>You must hold a bachelor's degree with at least one of the following subjects in your bachelor's degree :
~~Animal Husbandry & veterinary science,Botany ,Chemistry ,Geology,Mathematics,Physics,Chemistry and Zoology,agriculture or engineering in any discipline .
Age limits:
>>The age limit for the general category candidates is 21-30 years
>>Relaxation of five years to scheduled caste and tribes and three years to the OBC .
So if you have taken and read any one of the following mentioned subjects and you satisfy the age criteria then you are absolutely eligible
3.No of attempts:
General candidate have only four attempts
OBC have seven attempts
SC/ST has enjoys no restriction on it.
Important dates for the IFS exam 2013:
Date of notification:05/03/2013
Last date of receiving application:04/04/2013
Date of examination:26/05/2013.
This year forest services preliminary exam will through the civil services preliminary examination .The main examination for the Forest services will be held on 03/10/2013.

you can eligible for ifs when you complete you graduation .
for ifs you should graduate from bio or agricultural sub.
than you can apply for ifs exam .
for this you should be indian first .
