IFS is the Indian Forest Services examinations conducted by the UPSC every year.

Some of the important requirements for the IFS are as follow:

1.Academic requirement:

>>You must hold bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects named as animal husbandry,veterinary science,botany,chemistry,geology,mathematics,physi cs,zoology.

>>Or Bachelor's degree in agriculture,forestery and in engineeirng.

Note: If you have done your graduation in pharmacy along with any of the subjects mentioned above then you are eligible for the examinations.

2.Age criteria:

>>The minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 30 years on 1st july of the examination year.

3.Nationality:

>>You must be an Indian citizen.

Eligibility for IFS is given below:

Age Limits:

For General Category 21-30 years
For OBC Category 21-33 years
For SC/ST Category 21-35 years

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must be Graduate from any recognized university with at least one of the subject namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statics and Zoology OR
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry Or in Engineering of any of university

So dear you can apply for IFS if you fulfill above criteria

Friend, For Indian Forest Service, candidate required to possess bachelor degree in Botany, Agriculture, Horticulture, Zoology, Geology or relevent discipline. No any fixed percentage marks required. Only required to possess completed degree.But you are only pharmacy graduate, that is, Bachelor in Pharmacy. So degree in pharmacy is not ideal for Indian Forest Service. So you cannot apply to Indian Forest Service. Being pharmacy graduate, you are eligible for following UPSC Examinations mentioned below: * Civil Service Examination * Combined Defence Service Examination * Indian Foreign ServiceAlso eligible for following Non UPSC Examinations mentioned below: * Staff Selection Commission's Combined Graduate Level Examination * Banking Examinations for Clerk and Probationary Officer * Railway Examinations for Assistant Station Master, Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Good Guards etc.

Hello friend,
As you mentioned that you are pharmacy graduate, so you are eligible for civil service exam because you have graduate degree and it does not matter in which stream you have but as per specific service IFS, you need to have at least one of the subject named animal husbandary, veterinary science, botany, chemistry, geology, math, physics and zoology during your graduation.
And your age should be lies between 21 to 30 year (General category), 21 to 33 years (OBC), 21 to 35 (SC/ST) candidates. You should be an Indian citizen.

IFS stands for [Indian Forest Service] and this Entrance Examination is Conducted by Union Public Service Commission for every year ..

To apply for this Entrance Examination you need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria ,

Applicant should be Must graduation in any one of the Specialization like, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology Etc.. from recognized university ..
