The written examination will comprise two sections:
Section I - objective types questions
Section II � conventional (essay) type questions papers.
Both Sections will cover the entire syllabus of the relevant engineering subject.

There are 5 papers for Engineering services for all the branches.1 paper is General Ability Test.2papers are for Objective I and II.2papers are for Conventional I and II.Each paper will have 200marks each.And after qualification,there will be 200marks interview.

paper 1 (objective type)[FONT=Helvetica] : [/FONT]General Ability Test of 200 marks contains - Part A: General English
- Part B: General Studies
papers 2 and 3 (objective type) : Mechanical Engineering of 200 marks each paper.
papers 4 and 5 (conventional type) : Mechanical Engineering of 200 marks each paper.
total written examination of 1000 marks and interview is of 200 marks.
papers 1,2 and 3 are of 2 hours duration each,
papers 4 and 5 are of 3 hours duration each.
