    IPS(Indian Police Services)entrance examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year.

    IPS is one of the part of Indian Civil services.So that eligibility of IPS is as good as IPS/IAS/IRS/and so on.

    According to UPSC the eligibility of IPS entrance exams. is stated below.

    IPS ELIGIBILITY:-


    1.EDUCATION:Any Graduate or a final year candidate from the recognized University can write IPS entrance exam.

    2.AGE:General: 21-30 years relaxations for OBC: 3 years, S/C S/T: 5 years.PWD: 10 years.

    3.NATIONALITY: Indian.

    4.ATTEMPTS: General: 4 attempts, OBC: 7 attempts, S/C S/T: No limit.

    So, friend as per eligibility having B.Sc (Visual Communication )in Channai you are completely eligible for

    dear aspirant,

    for IPS you need graduation degree in any stream. So being a B.Sc(Visual Communication) graduate you can apply for IPS. final year candidates can also apply for IPS.

    for IPS your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. There is also available relaxation in upper age limit according to government norms as 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

    to become an IPS officer you have to apply for Civil Services exam. The exam is conducted by UPSC.

    Civil Services exam is conducted in three phases and you have to clear all the phases to become an IPS officer.
    The three phases are CSAT(Prelims), Mains and Interview

    General Studies Paper - I 200 Marks


    General Studies Paper - II 200 Marks


    Pattern For Mains Exam:

    Section 1 Essay 200 Marks


    Section 2 English Comprehension 100 Marks

    Yes you can appear in IPS examination(Indian Police service) examination which is conducted by UPSC every year.
    Eligibility criteria is-
    1-Being graduated from recognized university.
    2-Age limit is 21-30 for gen category,21-33 for OBC category and 21-35 for SC/ST category.
    3-Must be indian.
