    hi
yes you are eligible in giving the IPS exam because the subject of your graduation is not required in giving the examination. its just that you cannot chose this subject in your mains examination. there you will have to chose a different subject than this from the list of 17 available subjects. Gud luck

    Hi dear

    Even if your subjects at graduation are not listed as subjects available for civil services exam;
you can still appear for the exam by opting any other subject of your interest which is available.

So you should not worry regarding this.

You can choose from the following list of subjects:

    #Agriculture
    #Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science
    #Botany
    #Chemistry
    #Civil Engineering
    #Commerce
    #Economics
    #Electrical Engineering
    #Geography
    #Geology
    #Indian History
    #Law
    #Mathematics
    #Mechanical Engineering
    #Medical Science
    #Philosophy
    #Physics
    #Political Science
    #Psychology
    #Public Administration
    #Sociology
    #Statistics
    #Zoology

So if you are within age limit and pursuing your B.Tech study from a AICTE recognized college then you are definitely eligible for the UPSC Civil Services Exam.

    Good luck.........
