NDA is the National defence academy and is conducted for the three wings of defence:

While pursuing B.Tech course you are not eligible for applying for the NDA exam as you are not satisfying the needed qualification for applying for the exam

This exam is conducted for candidate to join in defence forces of India and is carried out by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) and is held every year.

As telling that you are pursuing your B.tech you might have a age of 18 years i think so when you finish your degree you will be 19 years and then in the next consecutive year if you apply you will not satisfy the age limit needed.

The age limit needed for the NDA exam is that the candidate must have 16 1/2-19 years and the education qualification needed is that you need to have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education.

If you are interested in joining in Defence then you can apply for the CDS Exam

This exam is also conducted by UPSC and is held every year for candidates to join in defence

No, you are not eligible to take the NDA exam, but you appear for the CDS exam.

The eligibility for NDA is that you must have completed +2 and must be between 16-19 years of age, but since you've started graduation, you cannot take this exam.

CDS is another exam which allocates to the defense area and this is fora ll graduates/ others above 19yrs of age.

I suggest you write this exam, a even this has an age limit of 24 years.

To apply for National Defense Academy(N.D.A) , age limits are minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years only.

Generally,you are B.Tech student means you have completed 10+2 with scince subjects only.
Academically eligible but in the case of age limits there will be difficult if your age is more than 19 years.
Below 19 years of age only eligible.

You have not aware of NDA Examination that why you are asking such type question and you are too late asking this type question . Don't worry i will clarify you are doubts about this examination . As per your age limits , you are ineligible to apply for this examination because to apply for this examination . The candidate must have a minimum 16 1/2 years and maximum 19 years at the time of appearing for this examination . So you are already crossed the 19 years so you can not apply for this examination .

NDA Examination is conducted for admission into Army wings , Navy wings , Air force wings and Naval Academy Cadet Entry Examination . This examination is conducted twice in a year in the month of February and August in calendar year . Minimum Education Qualification for this examination is that candidate need to completed Higher Secondary level examination from a recognized School or equivalent qualification and appearing in the 12th board examination may also eligible to apply .
