    Hi Piyali
Yes you are eligible for most of the UPSC Exams ; as you are a graduate and well inside the age limit.
The eligibility criteria for the civil services exam is -
''A degree from a recognized University or equivalent''
    Age limit 21-30years

On your question regarding suitable field ; UPSC Exams provide most elite civilian jobs in the country with uncomparable facilities and a decent pay. So if you think you can work hard enough to crack the Civil Services exam then no doubt you should start preparing for the exam and reap the benefits forever.

    yes my friend,

    why not ,?

you are eligible for the same.,

because according to the eligibility criteria you are the right person for civil services examination.

upsc demands only two qualifications in the candidates which are as under:

    1. the candidate must be a citizen of India.

    2. you must be a graduate from a govt. recognized university.

and you also fulfill the age criteria:

    for general : 21-30 years.

    for obc : 21- 33 years.

    for sc/st : 21-35 years.

if you qualifies the age criteria also than you are eligible .

    food luck!!
