To join railway departmental through UPSC exam, you must apply SCRA exam.

SCRA exam stands FOR SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICE.

Eligibility;-

----You must be passed 12th standard from a valid board.

---Age limit is 17-21 years.

---You must consist pcm subject in 12th class.

---You must be Indian citizen.

You are from commerce background, you can not join SCRA exam.

You have to look SSC notification for railway post.

therefore read employment newspaper daily.

You can apply for the " SPECIAL CLASS RAILWAY APPRENTICE exam ""

And the minimum qualification for this is "" 12th class "" from a recognized university
