IN UPSC Exam only one Exam which is related to Technical Field(B.E) and that is IES(Indian Engineering Services) Exam. in IES Exam only Engineers in any field can apply . and for IES your age must be within 21 years to 30 years and relaxation in upper age for reserved category candidates is: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

2. combined defence services
3. central police force.
4. Indian forest services.
5. indian engineering services.

here you did not mention your branch that in which branch you complete your B.E.
but remember about the INDIAN ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION that this is only for those candidates who complete their graduation in any of the following branch.

1. civil services.
2. mechanical engineering.
3. electrical engineering .
4. electronics and telecommunication engineering.

if your graduation is not with any of the branch mentioned above than you are not the right person for this exam.

If you want to know the UPSC exam related to engineering,then there is only one that is known as IES(Indian Engineering Services).
But let me tell you that there is also huge dillemma sort of situation.
According to the eligibility criteria of the UPSC IES exam ,any candidate having a engineering degree is applicable for the IES exam,but they have the only four stream to apply under

~CIVIL.
~MECHANICAL.
~ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION.
~ELECTRICAL.

That means it really does not matter that what was your stream at the time when you were studying engineering,but you will have to apply under this four category or else specifically you will have to choose any one stream for your engineering exam.

It sound rediculious ,but it is true.So its up to you for what you wanna go.

According ot CDS exam concerned you have to complete the graduation from the recognized college. Among the graduates the candidates ho will complete the graduation in the engineering field have the lot of the opportunity in the defence field. they can even join the Air force and Navy field. In the Air force field they will get the job in the field of technical and also in the flying branch. Apart from this requirements you have also age eligibility also for the Air force you have 19-23 years and navy 19-22 years and in the final for the Indian Military your age should be 19-24 years.

The Exam is going to be conducted by the UPSC government .Exam will consists of the general ability and English; Mathematics .Which will total consists of the 300 marks. The candidates who will clear this written exam such candidates will be called for the SSB Interview.

You can also join in the field of the civil service. You have to apply for the CSAT ( Civil Service Aptitude Test) .If you clear this exam then you will Interviewed by the SSB team from the UPSC. The written exam will consist of the General awareness and general aptitude.
