See my friend.....UPSC belongs to central government therefore any central government jobs or UPSC just need a graduation in any stream(including Economics)...from any university with any percentage so there is nothing worried about that ....you are absolutely eligible for any UPSC exam excluding NDA ....i think your age above 21....the age limit for any UPSC exam is between 21 to 30 so you can attempt or appear for it ....any way all the best my friend...

    Dear Aspirant,
-The INDIAN ECONOMIC SERVICE(IES) EXAMS are conducted annually by the UPSC.
-The tentative dates of release of forms are in JUNE and the exams are conducted in NOVEMBER.
-However,I am sorry to inform you that you are not eligible to appear for the IES exams,as you do not fulfil the educational qualifications required.
-Being a Bachelor in Economics, you fall short of fulfilling the eligibility criteria. You need to have completed your MASTERS in Economics.
-The complete eligibility requirements of the IES Exams are listed below-
    # NATIONALITY -
You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.
    # AGE LIMITS -
You must be 21 To 30 years of age.
However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 Years for SC/ST and ex-servicemen and by 3 Years for OBC and physically disabled s per government regulations.
    # EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS -
You must hold a Post Graduate Degree, from a
recognised university in Economics OR, Applied Economics OR, Business
    Economics Or, Eonometrics.
Final year appearing candidates are also applicable.

    Dear,

Soory to say you are not eligible for the ies exam becuase ies exam only the engineer level entrace exam. ies exam demand the graduation in any engineering steam. so you are not eligible for the exam.

other wise you are eligible for the civil service exam like as ias, ips, and cds exam or other combined graduate level test.

if your age between the 21 to 30 years,

for more information to update with www.upsc.gov.in

    Dear

Sorry to sat that the answer is no dear

You can't apply for upsc IES Exam dear on the basis of your Economics(hons.)

because Ies stands for indian engineering services

And it requires to be pass in b.tech

As dear you are not a b.tech student you you can' go for it

But dear you can give the upsc exam cse for posts like IAS And Ips

As you just need to be pass in from a recognized university in graduation

And age should be between 21-30

And their is relaxation for onc and sc/st of 3 and 5 years

    Best of luck
