there is no optional subject related to UPSC CS(Civil Services) exam but you can choose math and physics as optional subjects because you have read these subjects so it would be helpful for you.

Tips For Preparation:

1. manage your time table.
2. Start preparation according to CS syllabus.
3. Study 6th to 12th NCERT books also MC graw hill books related to subjects and subscribe chronicle magazine.
4. Keep reading newspapers and magazines daily.
5. try to solve previous year question papers.
