UPSC (means Union Public Service Commission)
Eligibility criteria for upsc exams is:
1. Candidate should have completed graduation or engineering from a college under a recognized university.
2. Candidate appearing in final year can also apply for the upsc exam.
3. Age limit for upsc exam is 21 to 30 years.
4. Candidate belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets an age relaxation of 3 and 5 years respectively.
Age limit is below :
21-30 for general category
PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
MAINS EXAMINATION
The candidates who clear the PRELIMINARY stage of the examination are considered to appear in the MAINS EXAMINATION. Also after clearing the mains examination the candidates are to go through an interview.
Candidates have a limited number of attempts to appear for this examination. And the number of attempts one can make for the civil services examination depends on the category of the aspirants.

4 attempts for general category
7 attempts for OBC category
no limit for SC/ST category.
