    Can I give UPSC and GPSC exams after completing B.E in Civil Engineering? Give me some guidance too.

    after complete b.e. in civil engineering to give gpsc and upsc exams are good or not..? Give me some guidence.

    yes,you can give both the commission being a graduate,

    ->>> these are elite jobs in India so there is no doubt of being said that these are not just good but excellent.

    ->>> tips

    1.choose two optionals carefully & start improving writing in them, do practice to write answers in essay manners in particularily these two subjects atleast.
    2. learn NCERT BOOKS FROM class III to XII,fro the general studies.
    3.start reading two good level competitive magazines like compeptition success review,prtiyogita darpan,frontline for the current affairs.
    4.purchase a good ATLAS,learn it heartly.
    5.order correspondence study material (though it is optional upto you)

    you can appear for the examinations


    List of UPSC Examinations

    Central Police Forces Examination (CPF)
    Civil Services Examination
    Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS)
    Combined Engineering Services Examination (IES)
    Indian Forest Services Examination (IFS)

    1.civil services examination (for IAS,IPS)

    whose eligibility criteria are :
    ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    You must be a citizen ofIndia,

    or, You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India before 1962.


    You must be of 21 to 30 years of age. HOWEVER,there is a relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.


    You must have completed your Graduation orEquivalent,from a recognized university under any
    stream,or be a final year student in the same

    The number of attempts is 4 for a General category student,
    7 for an OBC candidate,and
    unlimited for a SC/ST candidate,until he fulfills the age criteria

    2. central police force (CPF) held once every year

    whose eligibilty criteria are

    1.university graduate of any stream either in final year/passed out with 55% in graduation

    2. age limit within 20-25 years relaxation in the upper age limit,
    of 3 years for the OBCs
    and
    5 years for the SC/STs.

    3.CDSE (for recruitments in three armed forces of indian union)

    exam conducted bi-annually

    in which age should be within 18-25 yrs.
    & one must be university graduate from recognised university

    there is no age relaxation for any category

    yes you can give UPSC exam after completing B.E in Civil Engineering.

    eligibility criteria for UPSC is

    for UPSC exams you must complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university. your age must be within 21 years to 30 years

    YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR BOTH THE EXAMS

    BECAUSE YOU ARE A GRADUATE BUT THERE IS AN AGE CRITERIA ALSO FOR DIFFERENT CATEGORY.


    FOR GENERALS - 21-30 YEARS.

    FOR GENERALS 21-33 YEARS.

    FOR SC/ST - 21-35 YEARS.

    yes my friend ,

    you are eligible because you are a graduate and a

    graduate is eligiblee for the same:


    see the eligibility criteria:-

    a candidate must be indian.

    A candidate must be a graduate from a govt recognized university.


    Age criteria:-

    general:21-33.years.

    Obc:21-33 years

    st/sc: 21-35 years


    so keep in mind the age criteria .because having a graduation degree

    is not sufficient for upsc examination.
