Which books should I follow to crack UPSC Exam and become IPS officer in not more than 4 years?

I have passed out 12th I.S.C board examination i have also cracked aieee but i want to become an I.P.S officer.how should i study, i mean to say which books i should study so that i take not more than four years?

I suggest you three things to follow and easily crack IPS exam.

1) Collect 8 to 12th books like History, Geography, Sociology, Indian Constitution and English and start reading it.

2) Read daily newspaper Like The Hindu and Watching news in Tv in English Daily.

3) Regular reading of Magazine Like Chronicle, Pratiyogita Darpan, India Today etc

after completing all above read NCERT Book.
