I suggest you three things to follow and easily crack IPS exam.
1) Collect 8 to 12th books like History, Geography, Sociology, Indian Constitution and English and start reading it.
2) Read daily newspaper Like The Hindu and Watching news in Tv in English Daily.
3) Regular reading of Magazine Like Chronicle, Pratiyogita Darpan, India Today etc
after completing all above read NCERT Book.
