Yes, you can appear for the CDS examination of the UPSC. The basic qualification for the examination is to pass the Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering at any recognized university. But your age should not more than 22 years. you can also visit to know more www.upsc.gov.in Thanks....

To become an Air Force Officer through CDS exam you need to clear the CDS exam for IAF.
UPSC conduct CDS exam for the posts in Indian Defence. through CDS you can join INA, IAF, IMA and OTA. UPSC conduct CDS exam two times in a year.


Eligibility Criteria for CDS:


Educational qualification
for INA and Air force: B.Sc or Engineering degree
for OTA and IMA: graduation with any subjects
Age Limit:
for INA: 19 years to 22 years
for IAF: 19 years to 23 years
for IMA: 19 years to 24 years
for OTA: 19 years to 25 years

date of notification=25-05-2013
last date of receipt of application form=24-06-2013
date of exam=8-09-2013
