Yes you can join Indian Air Force through UPSC .

You can apply for CDS and you can give your option 1 as Air force .

You will go through CDS Examination and a SSB interview to get into airforce .

CDS Exam :
you have English , GK , and Mathematics paper in CDS.
SSB:
A 5 Day interview where you need to show OLQ's (Officer Like qualities).

For pilot in air force you need to go through PAT (Pilot aptitude test) , which will be conducted alongwith SSB .

Apart from UPSC , you can also give AFCAT which held twice every year.

Yes sir you can become a officer through upsc exam.

Upsc conduct the CDS exam, under this exam you can give the exam for the air force.


The qualification is required graduation in science field or the engineering line.


Age limit for the exam is 19 to 23 years.


Exam conducted bi-annually.


There is no age relaxation for the relaxation for the reserve category


Same term and condition is for the CDS Exam-1 & 2.

Yes you can join IAF through upsc.
Since all the exams conducted by IAF require a degree. you are eigible for most of the exams conducted.
Some of them are
AFCAT
IAF Airman Non-Technical Cadre Exam
IAF Commissioned Officers Exam
IAF Aeronautical Engineering Officers Examination

Dear aspirant ,

You should have maths and physics as main subjects in your Graduation if you want to become a pilot in Indian Air Force.

I think B.tech have these subjects hence you are definitely eligible for pilot in Air force.

But you are Graduate hence you are eligible to apply for Army through CDS exam. You can also apply for AFCAT exam if you willing to join Air force in flying

You will have to clear an objective type paper and SSB interview to become an Army officer.

Dear candidate-after b.tech you like to join in iaf ok you can join but you are to follow :-

1.you should have to finish your 12th with physics and mathematics.

2.as you are b.tech you are to face cds exam,to become an airforce pilot.

3.your age must be within 19 years to 25 years to sit for cds exam.

4.you must be an indian unmarried citizen for cds exam.

5.after the completion of objective pattern exam you are to go through ssb exam.to become an army officer.

yes you can definitely join the INDIAN AIR FORCE in following three branches of AIR FORCE according to the qualification of yours.


1.Flying Branch

2.Technical Branch

3.Ground Duty Branch.


1.FLYING BRANCH:you can join the flying branch of IAF as an engineer/ graduate.

There are three ways to join IAF flying branch.

COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE EXAMINATION(CDSE):

Only male candidates enter through this mode and you will get permanent comission.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

AGE:19 to 23 years at the time of commencement of the course.

NATIONALITY:Indian

MARTIAL STATUS:Unmarried

GENDER:Male

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Graduate in any discipline with physics and maths at 10+2.
OR
b.e/b.tech

ADVERTISEMENT SCHEDULE:In the month of june and october by UPSC.

NCC SPECIAL ENTRY SCHEME:If you have NCC C certificate then you can join the flying branch and you will get permanent comission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

ALL THE CRITERIA ARE SAME AS ABOVE FOR CDSE EXCEPT YOU WILL REQUIRE 60% MARKS IN YOUR GRADUATION.


SHORT SERVICE COMISSION(SSC):

You can apply via AFCAT for the SSC in the flying branch.

SSC in flying branch is only for 14 years and no extension of this.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

AGE LIMIT:19 to 23 years at the time of commencement of course and the upper age limit is relaxed upto 25 years if you have current commercial pilot license issued by DGCA.

NATIONALITY:Indian

MARTIAL STATUS:Unmarried.

GENDER:Male and Female

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Graduate in any discipline with physics and maths at 10+2 with 60% marks.
OR
b.e/b.tech with 60% marks.


ADVERTISEMENT SCHEDULE:In the month of JUNE AND DECEMBER BY IAF.


2.TECHNICAL BRANCH:Only if you have ENGGINEERING DEGREE.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY:

• Age - 18 to 28 years (at the time of commencement of course)

• Nationality - Indian

• Marital Status - Candidates below the age of 25 years should be unmarried

You can get entry into TECHNICAL BRANCH via the exam conducted by IAF AFCAT.
