Hi Dear
Your appearence in any entrance exam does not affect your eligibility for Civil Services Exam.
As long as you satisfy the eligibility criteria of civil services exam you can write any other exam
without bothering about your eligibility for the civil services exam.
The eligibilty criteria for the civil services exam is as follows:
#Nationality: Indian
#Minimum academic qualifications prescribed: A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
(Candidates appearing at the degree examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions).
#Age limit:
For General: 21-30 years
For OBC : 21-33 years
For SC/ST : 21-35 years
For PH : 21-40 years
So if you satisfy the above mentioned criteria you can appear for the civil services exam.
Good luck...

Re: Can I appear in Civils next year if going to write IB entrance exam this year?
Dear..
it is nothing like that if you are going to give a exam then you are not able to give other exam. It does not happen when it comes to UPSC. UPSC has issued some Eligibility criteria :-
1. All graduate are eligible
2. Graduation must be done from a recognized university
3. Only Indian citizen are eligible
4. Age limit is 20-30 years
5. Graduation subject does not matter at all
6. relaxation to those who belong to SC, ST and OBC
7. Attempts are also limited that is why a thorough preparation in mandatory.
8. No minimum percentage criteria for IAS.
And if you are fulfilling the criteria then you can sit for the exam otherwise whatever exam you give UPSC does not have interest in that and that why in order to get qualified for UPSC you just have to fulfill the above mentioned criteria.
Hope that will help
Cheers...!!!

Re: Can I appear in Civils next year if going to write IB entrance exam this year?
Dear Aspirant!
Yes, you can give multiple number of examinations in a year with eligibility requirements.
Eligibility requirements for Civil service examinations.
Graduation in any stream.
Age limits are:
General - 21 years to 30 years with 04 attempts.
OBC-21 years to 33 years with 07 attempts.
SC/ST - 21 years to 35 years with no limit.
***My suggestion is better to apply for Civils examinations only after practicing only because of limited number of attempts.
Good lUck
