There are some eligibility that you must fulfill in order to apply,if you do so then you are absolutely,otherwise you are not

~Education qualification-candidates must have passed the 10+2 or Equivalent exam to it with mathematics and at least any one of the subject between physics and chemistry with first oe second division.

Even graduates in mathematics are also applicable but with any one of the subject between physics and chemistry along with mathematics.

~Age limit-17 to 21 years.

SCRA stands for the Special class Railway apprentice examination.It is conducted by the UPSC every year.

Sorry to say that ,you cannot apply for the SCRA exam 2013 now because the important dates for the SCRA 2013 were:

Date of notification:13/10/2012

Last date of receiving application:12/11/2012

Date of examination:20/01/2013


Donot worry,If your 10+2 passed/appearing with PCM as compulsory subjects from a recognised board then you can give the SCRA exam that will be held in 2014.

One important criteria is that your age should lie between 17-21 years.

Kindly study hard in order to compete the SCRA exam in 2014.Please go through the examination pattern and start your preparation according to it.

SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) exam conducted by UPSC every year

Eligibility for SCRA is :

Age Limits:

Candidate must be between 17-21 year
Age Relaxation for
OBC 3 years

SC/ST 5 years

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must be 12th pass from any recognized board with Mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination .
OR
Graduation with Mathematics OR
Student with at least one of the subjects Physics or Chemistry as their degree level apply also.

So you can apply if you fulfill above criteria

SCRA stands for "special class railway apprentices " which is used to conduct by union public service commission.

the eligibility for SCRA ARE =

-age=17-21 years

-should have completed intermediate ,have mathematics and one of these subjects in physics ,chemistry

or
-should be a graduate having mathematics or physics or chemistry a there subject.

-should be medically fine


SCRA exam comprises

a)written test =includes mathematics,physics,chemistry,general knowledge,English knowledge,
b)mental ability(psychological test)./interview
c)medical test.



the selected candidates would be send to rigorous training for 4 years

SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice.

Sorry friend in this year you can not apply for the SCRA exam because last date of application form for SCRA exam already passed.

notification date: 13/10/2012

Last date of application form: 12/11/2012

Exam date: 20/1/2013


So friend you will have to wait for the next year exam.

Next notification will be released in the month of October 2013 for the year of 2014.
