    Can I attend UPSC SCRA exam after completing diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 90%?

    am finished only diploma in mechanical engineering with 90% of marks,is this eligible for atten the special class railway apprentice 2013 exam sir,if iam not eligible means say wat i ll to apply any upsc exams.....pls do favour for me sir.....THANKING YOU....

    Yes friend you can apply for the SCRA exam after completing diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

    Even you can also apply for SCRA exam now.

    SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice.

    SCRA exam is conducted by the UPSC.


    To apply for the SCRA exam you should be Intermediate qualified.

    Age should be between 17 to 21 years.

    Age relaxation as per government norms

    SC/ST + 5 years and OBC + 3 years

    You must be the citizen of India.

    YES you are also Eligible to apply for

    This exam is conducted by UPSC ...

    You must have a minimum 16.5 years

    Maximum age is allowed up to 19 years

    Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the Reserved candidates

    Yes definitely you can write SCRA Exam after completing diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
    SCRA stands for Special Class Railway Apprentice. SCRA Exam is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Railways in the officer cadre.

    The basic eligibility criteria for SCRA Exam are as follows:
    Age Limit
    17 to 21 years

    Marital Status
    The candidate should be unmarried.

    Nationality
    The candidate should be Indian.

    Educational Qualification
    For Army: 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent examination conducted by State Education Board or University.
    For Air Force, Navy & Naval Academy: 12th class pass of 10+2 of school education pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University.

    SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice) Exam conducted by UPSC every year

    Eligibility Criteria for SCRA is:

    Age Limits:

    For General Candidate : 17-21 years
    For OBC Candidate : 17-24 years
    For SC/ST Candidate : 17-26 years

    Educational Qualification:
    Must be 12th pass with Mathematics and at least one of the subject Physics and Chemistry as Subject of the examination
    OR
    Mathematics Graduate or student with at least one of the subject Physics or Chemistry as their degree Level

    So dear you cal apply if you fulfill above criteria

    Hello

    YES YOU CAN APPLY FOR THE SCRA EXAM.

    The eligibility criteria for the SCRA is as follows
    1)The educational qualification is-the 10+2 passed or any other equivalent exam to 10+2 with mathematics and any one subject between physics and chemistry with second division.

    2)Age limit-17 to 21 years.

    As you have done your diploma in mechanical engineering,then you must have studied mathematics and any one subject between physics and chemistry.
    The diploma is very much equivalent to the 10+2 passed.

    Hence you are applicable for the SCRA exam.
