dear, according to your dob your age will now 16 yrs. then offcourse you can apply for NDA exam 2013 bcoz its age limit is 16.5-19 yrs.

Hi,Sorry you cannot apply for NDA 2013 exam coz according to your dob your age will be 16 yrs at the time for exam and minimum age required for NDA is 16.5 yrs. Good Luck....

age limit for NDA(I)-2013 is- born not before 2 january 1995 and not later than 1 july 1997.

your date of birth is 2 march 1997 and hence you can apply for NDA(I)-2013.

See according to the eligibility criteria for NDA exam-

1)12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent
with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or
a university and also Students who are appearing in the 12th class
under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can
also apply for this examination.

2)Students who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried
males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years
on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the
exam.


As far as the age is concerned,you'll be 15 years old as on 1/1/2013 hence you cannot give the 1st exam.
But you can surely appear for the 2nd exam since then you'll be 16 years old.
Make sure that you are in 12th class or have passed it in order to complete the criteria!

Friend you are eligible for NDA & NA Exam 2013 since according to UPSC the candidates who are born after 2nd January 1995 and not later than 1st july 1997 are only eligible.
NDA & NA is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force wings of NDA.

The eligibility criteria for NDA & NA Examination are as follows:

Marital Status
The candidate should be unmarried.
Nationality
The candidate should be Indian.
Educational Qualification

yes dear , you can apply for the NDA exam being born on 02-03-1997.
as for the NDA exam the age limit is 16-1/2 to 19 years.
i.e you should not be born before 2 January 1995 and not later/after than 1 july 1997.

so you are eligible as far as the age limit is concerned.

moreover you also need to be a 12th cleared or a 12th appearing candidate from a recognized board.

and yes , only unmarried males can apply for the exam.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy . NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years ,but you must know that it takes nearly 1 year time to start the course after all the process of selection is done.
The age limit is 16.5 to 19 years(but at the time of commencement of the course).

You need to understand that you must be between 15.5 to 18 years,when you apply as it takes nearly 1 year time to complete all the process of selection.
As you are of 16 year old,you can apply for the NDA.
