It is depend on your own efforts. You can prepare for the examination at home also. You should read the newspaper daily and see news channels for current affairs. In UPSC prelims exam it helps you in general study question paper. Also you should read for basic knowledge NCERT books. It helps you in prelims exam for history and other subjects.

You should go for Study Material of your University that you can write in UPSC Mains exam. Also for current affairs you should read editorial pages of newspapers. In these pages many good and related experts give their opinions. So, best of luck.

    HI Aspirant

Yes you can prepare for the exam

At home but remember it is one of the most

Difficult task because you are talking about the most difficult test

And it requires a lot of hard work

And you have to study at least 15 hours a day

And on the other hand yes you can clear the pre exam

And on the other hand for the mains exam you have to take

Coaching as i don't want to miss lead you that with out

Coaching in the mains exam thinking of clearing the exam is not possible

So better would be to take coaching in mains exam

    Best of luck

yes dear you can prepare yourself for the civil services examination by self study at home .

it is totally depend on your efforts if you think that you can prepare at home for the exam and you have proper study material according to syllabus than it is good that you prepare at home but if you think that something or somewhere is your weak point than

you should go for coaching or you should consult to your friends or elders or teachers, because there is no any place for weakness in such type of exams .

if you have courage and full confidence than your bedroom is the best coaching center for you ever .

    good luck !!
