Sorry friends there is no relaxation or sports quota in NDA exam.

NDA exam is organized by the Union Public Service Commission twice in a year at national level.

for the NDA exam you should be minimum Intermediate qualified as per government norms.

Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

No age relaxation is applicable

You must be the citizen of India.

if you satisfy the these criteria you can apply for the NDA exam.

sorry there is no sports quota for NDA Exam. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in every year. The exam is conducted for the posts in Air Force, Navy and Army.

For NDA exam you must have completed 12th with Math and Physics from recognized board or college.

your age must be within 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for any category.

NDA exam stands for NAtional defence Academy
NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

there are some eligibility criteria which is

candidate should be completed 12th
for air force and Navy maths is the compulsory subject in 12th
age of the candidate should be minimum 16.5 year to maximum 19 year.
candidate should be male
only unmarried candidate are eligible for this exam

There are no sport quota

Sorry to say that there is no such provision in case of NDA examinations that one can join the NDA through sports quota.

If you are interested to join the NDA ,you have clear the entrance examinations held by by UPSC for the NDA twice every year for which eligibility criteria is :

1.You must have passed/appearing 10+2 with mathematics and english as compulsory subjects from a recognised board.

2.You age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

3.You must be unmarried male Indian.

4.You must be physically and mentally fit.

After fulfilling all these criteria you need to give the entrance examinations whose pattern is as below:

Candidate have face and crack the written test, psychological Aptitude test, Intelligence Test and Interview

Sorry you can't join NDA bcoz you belongs to sports quota which have no any age relaxation for them. If you are 12th passed student, and your age not more that 19 yrs. then offcourse you can apply for it. For applying visit www.upsc.gov.in

We are sorry to say friend that you may not join NDA through using sport quota because there is no such facility or relaxation provided in the NDA exam or selection procedure of NDA exam that you could join and each candidate who wants to join NDA & NA will have to qualify following stages :

Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence test which would be conducted by the board

Written Examination : There are following two papers in the examination :

Mathematics - Objective type questions - 300 marks and you will get 2 and half and hour for this paper

General Aptitude test - English and General knowledge would be there and English part has 200 marks and GK part has 400 marks and same time available to solve this paper too

Dates for current session NDA & NA exam has been over so that you may apply for next NDA

Last date for online application - 03-06-2013

Date for NDA & NA Exam - II - 11-08-2013

Friend, please note that there is no any provision of reservation & age relaxation neither under sports category nor for reserved categories. There is same eligibility conditions for all candidates irrespective of any category. If you are intermediate, then you can surely eligible for NDA Examination. Here minimum age required is 16.5 years and maximum age required is 19 years. Girls are strictly prohibited to apply for NDA Examination because boys are only permitted to apply. Sorry to say there is no reserve quota for the Sports person and also there is no age relaxation for the sports person.


NDA exam conduct two times in a year.


The age limit for the exam is the 16.5 years to 17 years.


Qualification is required +2 pass with science subject.

Female�s candidates are not eligible for the exam.

There is no such special quota for the Sports in the NDA exam. This exam is purely conducts on the bases of the Intermediate .If the candidates clears or complete the Intermediate then such candidates are eligible for the NDA exam. Not only sports quota there is no age and other special quota for the other categories also.

This NDA exam Is conducted UPSC government. If you witch you join the Indian defence field then you have to clear this exam then only you can join the Indian defence field.

Education Qualification � The candidates who want to join the Indian defense field have to complete Intermediate from the recognized college. If the candidates want to join the Indian Navy and Air force then you have to complete Intermediate with Mathematics and Physics. If you are from the Arts stream then you only eligible for the Army field

Age limit � 16- 19 years.

The candidates first appear for the written test. The written test consists of the Two papers and The candidates who will clears this written exam such candidates qualify for the Interview.
