UPSC exam is the most respectable and most difficult exam in India. It has got preliminary and mains exam.If some one get selected for mains exam he will hardly get 5 months for the preparation of mains exam which is mostly two optional subjects. Optional subjects are the only place where participant can score most marks as he has chosen the subjects and it needs more than 5 months for the perfect preparation. So, I think you should simultaneously prepare your optional and preliminary subjects. And I think its quite difficult to do a full time job and prepare for UPSC.But still if you are confident and determined and hard working u can do anything how hard the situation is..All the best.

UPSC exams being one among the foremost respectable and status of the country, require plenty of dedication.
you'll be able to sure higher them, only if you place countless efforts.
For you,i would prefer to recommendation that you just should begin prepare yourself for the prelims that area unit largely supported general study and awareness, and wont have an effect on your profession a lot of.
and as shortly as you crack the prelims, you can raise your workplace for leave for number of months and prepare onerous for the 'mains'.
work flat out and you'll succeed.
upsc examination needed ton of your time and concentration to urge.
if you'll be able to offer solely 5-6 hour per day, which needs far more dedication and jam-packed with involvement on that you'll be able to get success in upsc examination.
you needed to initial brace oneself for prelims and that relies on general awareness and general studies. you'll be able to refer totally different magazines for upsc.
UPSC examination is that the most respectable and most tough examination in Asian country. It has got preliminary and mains examination. If some one get elect for mains examination he can hardly get five months for the preparation of mains examination that is usually 2 ex gratia subjects. ex gratia subjects area unit the sole place wherever participant will score most marks as he has chosen the themes and it desires quite five months for the right preparation. So, i believe you must at the same time prepare your ex gratia and preliminary subjects. And I assume its quite tough to try and do a full time job and brace oneself for UPSC.But still if you're assured and determined and onerous operating u will do something however onerous the case is.
