yes you can opt. chemistry in english and history in hindi lang. for civil services mains exam

Sumit,i dont think there is any such provision to attend the mains exams,for two different subjects,in two different languages for a given year.
U need to opt for one of the language before your exams,,between english and hindi and maintain your answers in that language itself throughout the exams.

hie friend while filling your application form you need to write medium of examination for mains where you can write only hindi or english no two columns for different subjects.

Yes you can opt these subjects as optional in your civils .....You have good command over the subject..
