Re: How many optional subjects should one choose for Civil Services Mains exam as per latest pattern changes?

UPSC has made some changes in the scheme of Civil Services Exam. As per new changes in Civil Services General Studies is given more weightage in Prelims and mains. Now there is no optional subject in Prelims and in Mains exam you have to choose only one optional subject from the list of optional subjects. If any candidate want to select Language subject as optional subject then they must have completed graduation in same language subject as your main subject.

you should choose any one optional subject in which you have interest and you have knowledge. It will help you in preparation.

List of optional subjects for Main Examination:
