You can apply if are in final year in B.Tech.
Because a candidate who have pass their degree or appearing in final year can also apply.
age should be between 21-30 years.
OBC Candidate 21-33 years
SC/ST Candidate 21-35 years.

The eligibility criteria of the ies exam are the candidate complete the graduation in engineering stream final semester appears candidate also eligible for the exam.
There are only four categories which candidates eligible for the exam:-
Category I�Civil Engineering.
Category II�Mechanical Engineering.
Category III�Electrical Engineering.
Category IV�Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
You are the student of the IT, according to the ies exam condition you are not eligible for the exam because your qualification is no match .
So you give the civil service exam when you complete the graduation.
Age limit for the exam is the 21 to 30 years.
