hi,
In CSAT exam it is not taken into consideration that candidate is of City or Rural area.
>> If you have prepare hard and studied well then you can perform better than city candidate.
>> First you need to learn about time management and strategy to follow while in exam.
>> CSAT exam needs time management during exam.
>> If time is not managed properly then you can not finish paper on time.
I hope you will understand.
All the Best
Yes dear definitely a rural student can perform better in CAST examination if he prepares well for examination and if you will not prepare for exam concentratively then you may not perform good and the same thing applied for those who lives in cities so that you should not worry about that because everything depends on your practice and your preparation that how much time you give to your preparation and how much you are dedicated to your preparation then you gets the result in positive mode but if you are not ready for the preparation from your heart then you can take any top most coaching in the world, you may never get selected in any competitive examination so that you must have enough interest in that examination which you are preparing for but if you are not interested then it would be like a hard rock for you and if you want to perform well in CSAT section then first of all you should download the entire syllabus and read every single topic of the syllabus then start your preparation for easy syllabus and give more and more time for hard section and practice again and again with revision then you may get good command over CSAT
All the best
YES, why not people from rural India can perform better in CSAT exams.
Its not about from which part of the country you belong, its all about how you are in studies, what are your skills and knowledge
In the CSAT exams which is conducted by UPSC People from both rural and Urban Indian qualify
So, you should not think about these things, but your whole concentration should be on preparatuons for the exams.
CSAT is the first stage of the UPSC Civil Services Exams.
Lakhs of candidates apply in this exams and only 10 to 12 thousand candidates are shortlisted for the next round that is Mains Exams.
There are two appers in this exams .
Both the Papers are in objective mode only
If you study well and study all those topics that are there in the syallabus of the CSAT appers, you would definitely qualify in this exams.
Its all about your Hard work
Yes rural people can also give the CSAT and can easily clear the paper. All you need is that a wish to be successful and a complete dedication and devotion to the subject.
Nothing is impossible, get the best books and keep reading them and the success will be all yours
According to me, its not the thing who performs better in any exam, as it does'nt depends on whether a student lives in a city or rural area. It depends on the hard work performed by the student in his studies and how he/she manages his/her time in the exams.
yes, why not candidates from Rural are also do better in CSAT and appointed for the posts of IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS etc. for that first of all i give you a suggestion that stop thinking such a negative thinking that you are from rural or a poor or any other. it will fill the negative thinking in you and which will be not good for you.
In UPSC all the candidates are equal and there is no matter your are from rural city, Big towns or poor or rich family.
So stop thinking such a thing and concentrate on preparation. because it is preparation which will help you to crack the exam. you have to work hard to prepare because there is large enough competition in Civil Services Exam. you have to prepare from heart and concentrate on basic concepts.
Civil Services exam is conducted in three phases:
1. CSAT(Prelims)
2. Mains
3. Interview
Eligibility Criteria:
>>for Civil Services you need graduation in any discipline.
>>for appearing in Civil Services exam your age must be within 21 years to 30 years. there is also applicable relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
