sir, i, praveen.t, was a final year b.tech student.My life's ambission want to bcom an IAS offiser. on march2014, i will complete my b.tech carrer. then, can i apply to prelims exam without the results of 4-2??? can i applicabl for that? plz give so clarity... tnhq u sir!

• Yes, definately you will be eligibile to apply for the civil services examination even being in final semester of b.tech.
• It has three stages which are preliminary exam, main exam and interview.
• Being in final year/semester, you can only eligibile for the Preliminary examination.
• For Main exam and further stages, it's necessary that you must have completed your graduation in any stream from an recognised university.

Yes you are eligible og\f giving the IAS exam being in the final year of your graduation.
But you need to keep this in mind that in case you are selected in the prelims and the mains, then at the time of your interview, you should be having your result of your graduation in your hand otherwise you won�t be allowed to sit for the interview.
Therefore, if you are giving the exam this year then please make sure that you would be having your result at the time of your interview for the IAS.

They only required graduation with the age limit 21-30.

Education Qualification.
Minimum graduation from any recognized university in any stream .
or
Final year student also eligible for the exam .

Number of Attempts are allowed:
