1.a b.tec or be or a final year candidate from recognized university can apply for ies.
2.candidate must be indian citizen.
3.candidate must be within 21 to 30 years as gen 21 to 33 years for obc and s/c s/t no limit.
4.to clear the exam. Gen.candidate get's 4 attempts,obc 7 attempts and s/c s/t have no limit.

Yes you are eligible for UPSC - Indian Engineering Services exam if you have a bachelor degree in any discipline of engineering means - Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or any other branch or engineering can apply for IES exam under UPSC board
your age should be between 21-30 years and this criteria is for general candidates but for OBC - 21-33 and for SC/ST - 21-35 years and relaxation for others as per government guidelines.
