i have completd diploma in electronics and communication and BE in EEE....is there any entrance exams apart from IES....to get into government sector or any reputed private company......also i like to know that is there any UPSC exams for engineers...

Yes,why not there are some more UPSC exams for which a candidate having bachelor's degree in engineering /technology is eligible to apply.It is not that you are eligible for the Indian Engineering services .But it is considered to be best for the engineers as questions are asked in it which are generally from your stream in which you have spent your four years .<br>

<strong>So there are more chances of success in IES for an engineers however it is also not that you will not be able to achieve success in other examinations ,you can get success in other UPSC exams by strong determination and hard labour.<br>
