    Eligibility for Civil services exam after B.Sc (Nautical Sciences)

    Respected Sir,
    Can i appear for civil services exams with bsc nautical science
    I would request you to provide me with some information rearding whether or not I can apply for civil services exams with BSC nautical science degree as my graduation qualification.
    This degree is Diploma in nautical science leading to BSC in nautical science in which 12 months classroom learning program is there. Next 18 months we do distance learning program on board the ship. Last six months are again completed in the institute. This course was done from VISHWAKARMA MARITIME UNIVERSITY PUNE AFFILIATED TO INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY CHENNAI.

    I kindly request you to help me with the above.

    Dear Friend,

    B.Sc is a bachelor degree course and after graduation every candidates are eligible for civil services exam.

    Eligibility Criteria :-


    Educational Requirements :-

    You should be graduate from any recognized university and also can apply in last year of graduation.

    Age Limit :-

    Your age must be under 21-30 years.

    Gender :-

    Male/Female both are eligible.

    Nationality :-


    You must be citizen of India.

    Dear Aspirants ,

    After B.Sc you are eligible for civil services examination.

    Graduates are eligible for that exam and also those candidates are eligible which are in last year of graduation.

    Age must be 21-30 years.

    name of the exam L Civil services india
    Age : 21yrs to 30yrs
    educational Qualification : graduate in any discipline

    And BSc is also a graduate course and you have completed your graduation in Nautical Science , So you are eligible to appear for the Exam .

    hi friend,
    I am mentioning some eligibility criteria for appearing in Civil Services Examination which are as follows:-

    #You must have passed your graduation successfully in any stream from a UGC recognized university.

    #Those students who are studying in the final year of their graduation can also apply for this examination.


    #Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

    #the number of attempts are 4,7 and unlimited for general,OBC and SC & ST candidates both respectively.

    #The age limits for various categories are:-
    For General 21-30 years
    For OBC 21-33 years
    For SC & ST both 21-35 years

    Hello

    It does not matter,the only factor that matters is that a valid degree.

    The educational qualification required for applying is Graduation from any stream.

    As you have completed your Graduation in Nautical Science,you are definitely eligible for applying in civil services.

    You just have to make sure that your university is UGC(University Grants Commission) and that your course is very much approved by AICTE.

    AICTE-All India Council For Technical Education.

    You just take care of these two factors,apart from these all other facts are correct.

    Civil Services examinations are conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) every year.


    The eligibility criteria required for the Civil services examination are prescribed as below:-

    * Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognized college or university.

    * Final year contenders are also eligible.

    * Percentage criteria is not required.

    * Age limit:- 21-30 yrs.

    * Age relaxation:- 3 yrs for OBC, 5 yrs for SC/ST and 10 yrs for PWD contenders.

    * No. of attempts:- 4 for General, 7 for OBC and no limits for SC/ST contenders.

    * Nationality:- Indian.


    The selection procedure required for the civil services examination are mentioned as below:-

    * Preliminary examination.

    * Mains examination.

    * Personnel interview.

    Well if you are a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university then automatically it means that you can apply for the civil services examination so you should not think like that there will be any hurdle for the same.
    If you .
    It will be better for you to start preperation for the civil services examination because its time to give answers not ask questions.
    If you have any doubt regarding the eligibility criteria and the examination pattern then you can see the eligibility criteria for the same as follows-
    Eligibility criteria for the Civil services examination-
    Age should be 21 to 30 years of age.
    Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university can apply for the same.
    Age relaxation for the civil services examination is as follows-
    SC/ST 5 years.
    OBC 3 years.
    Ex servicemen 5 years.
    Disabled defence officer in army during war for commissioned officer 3 years of age relaxation.
    Examination pattern-
    CSAT stands foir the civil services aptitude test which is the first stage of the examination. It consist of 2 papers and both general studies of 400 marks total.
    MAINS examination is if you qualify the examination CSAT then called for the Mains examination.
    There will be 9 papers of 2000 marks .
    By qualifying the same candidates are called for the interview.
    Interview consist of 300 marks.
