Notification date- 02/02/2013
last date of application form submission- 04/03/2013
Prelims examination date- 19/05/2013.
You can enter in this exam given above date, there is no restriction of specific stream and percentage.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Education qualification-
Graduation in any stream from Govt. recognized University(NO restriction of %)
Final year student who appeared in last year exam can also apply for UPSC prelims exam.
Age limit-

CIVIL SERVICE EXAM ELIGIBILITY:-

you should have to passed graduate from the recognized university.

you must bean indian.

age should be 21 to 30 years.

age relaxation for obc 3 years , for sc/st 5 years.

final year appearing candidates can also apply.



NO OF ATTEMPTS:-

general = 4 times
obc = 7 times
sc/st = no limits

First of all you should decide that for which civil service exam do you want to apply then you should follow these following steps :

1. Visit at the UPSC official website when recruitment announce then you should read the complete notification of the exam and all type of eligibility criteria which is required for exam and if you consider that you are containing enough eligibility then you can apply for this exam.

2. Firstly you would be required for part 1 registration and you should complete the required information in first registration process then submit you details and you will receive your registration no. and you should copy that and not down then open for Part 2 registration and upload your photograph and signature in the form and submit the form and print your application form.

3. After sometime you will get the information about to download your admit card for exam and you should get it from the www.upsc.gov.in an download your admit card and after receiving your admit card for prelims exam and you can appear for UPSC - Preliminary exam.

4. If you successfully qualify the prelims - objective type exam then you would be eligible for next descriptive type exam and you will receive your admit card for this exam and if you fortunately qualify the mains exam then you would be eligible for interview process and you will have to face an interview under the complete USPC Board and if you will qualify the interview then you would be appointed for civil services.
