Dear as you have mentioned that IAS and IPS has different exams conducted by UPSC board but there is no different exam conducted by UPSC board for IFS - Indian Foreign Service Exam
UPSC board conducts Civil Service Exam and IAS exam is under Civil Service exam and the distribution for the posts after being selected in IAS exams would be done according to the UPSC board rules in which top 50 candidates those who have qualified in IAS exam and cracked interview process successfully and has got the rank under top 50 would be declared for the post of IFS - Indian Foreign Service and other who have less marks get other posts as - Collector, Indian Revenue Officer and there are about 21 posts under the IAS services which are distributed for all IAS qualifiers according to the marks and rank
IPS stands for Indian Police Service and UPSC board conduct a separate exam for IPS post also but the eligibility criteria is same for both IPS and IAS but for IPS exam the UPSC board required a fixed and decided physical standards only for IPS post not for IAS so that there is a difference between both of these posts which you should remember in future.
